About SuperBox for Sale
SuperBox for Sale is an established authorized North American distributor of premium Android media hubs, bringing genuine SuperBox hardware—including the S6, S7, and flagship S8 generations—directly to home viewers, cord-cutters, and entertainment enthusiasts throughout the United States and Canada.
Our digital storefront serves as the central hub of our business. Because our units represent a premium consumer electronics investment ($300 to $400+ per order), our website must project uncompromising credibility, rapid load performance, seamless navigation, and frictionless checkout security. Behind every transaction is a carefully orchestrated ecosystem involving content delivery networks, payment gateways, fraud prevention algorithms, and third-party logistics integrations. The E-commerce Website Operations & Webmaster role serves as the digital architect and technical steward ensuring this entire commerce engine runs without friction 24/7.
Strategic Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a proactive, detail-obsessed, and technically versatile E-commerce Webmaster to take complete operational ownership of our online storefront. This is not a theoretical advisory role; you will be the hands-on technical manager responsible for site uptime, code modifications, app integrations, and conversion funnel hygiene.
Working alongside our digital marketing specialists, inventory planners, and frontline support leads, you will bridge the gap between aesthetic presentation and backend technical performance. Whether optimizing Core Web Vitals to improve search rankings, building responsive promotional landing pages for high-stakes retail holidays, or configuring fraud detection filters to combat chargebacks, you ensure our storefront provides an effortless, high-trust buying experience for thousands of daily visitors.
Work Schedule & Incident Response Availability
- Standard Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM PST), Monday through Friday.
- High-Traffic Campaign Windows: Occasional scheduled weekend or evening deployments during major retail events, including Black Friday/Cyber Week, the Super Bowl shopping rush, and quarterly flagship hardware launches.
- Operational Cadence: Daily routines begin with automated error log reviews, checkout gateway health audits, and catalog synchronization checks, followed by feature rollouts, A/B testing adjustments, and site performance tuning during core business hours.
Key Operational Responsibilities
1. Storefront Performance, Code Maintenance & UI/UX Optimization
You will maintain daily technical oversight of our e-commerce platform (Shopify Plus or WooCommerce ecosystem), ensuring peak visual fidelity and swift responsiveness across mobile, tablet, and desktop environments. You will write clean, lightweight HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and platform-specific template code (such as Liquid or PHP) to customize product pages, adjust layout grids, and build intuitive product comparison tables for our S6, S7, and S8 hardware tiers. Beyond visual styling, you will continually audit site velocity, diagnosing render-blocking scripts, optimizing image compression, minifying assets, and leveraging CDN caching to maintain exceptional Google Core Web Vitals scores.
2. Checkout Hygiene, Payment Gateways & Fraud Mitigation
A flawless checkout flow is critical to consumer trust. You will configure, monitor, and troubleshoot our multi-gateway payment processing infrastructure (including Stripe, PayPal, Authorize.net, and alternative digital wallets). You will actively monitor cart abandonment spikes, test end-to-end checkout paths across diverse operating systems, and eliminate UI friction points that cause payment drop-offs. Additionally, you will fine-tune fraud prevention filters and address verification rules (AVS/CVV matching) to shield the business from fraudulent transactions and chargebacks while preventing legitimate customer purchases from being mistakenly declined.
3. Catalog Merchandising, Promotional Deployments & Asset Management
You will manage the digital product catalog, ensuring that inventory counts, tiered pricing, warranty upsell packages, and bundled accessory add-ons (such as backup voice remotes or HDMI cables) are displayed accurately. When marketing launches promotional sales, you will build dynamic promotional banners, implement automated discount logic, create countdown timers, and verify that bundle pricing functions properly at checkout. You will also oversee digital asset storage, ensuring that high-resolution product photography, unboxing video embeds, and technical specification PDFs render crisply without slowing down page load times.
4. Third-Party Integrations, Tracking Infrastructure & Data Reliability
Our storefront relies on an interconnected suite of third-party web applications, including customer review aggregators, live chat widgets, email marketing capture popups (Klaviyo), shipping calculators, and inventory sync tools. You will oversee these integrations, removing redundant code snippets from uninstalled applications and ensuring existing tools do not conflict with one another. Crucially, you will maintain tracking infrastructure integrity by managing Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 e-commerce events, Meta Pixel tracking, and server-side conversion APIs so that our marketing teams receive clean, uncorrupted purchase and behavioral data.
5. Technical SEO Hygiene, Structured Data & Site Architecture
Collaborating closely with our organic search team, you will implement technical on-page SEO standards across all URLs. This includes structuring clean schema markup (Product, Offer, Review, and FAQ rich snippets), generating and submitting updated XML sitemaps, managing canonical link hierarchies, and resolving 404 crawl errors through appropriate 301 redirect mapping. You will safeguard crawl efficiency and ensure search engine bots can index new product iterations and troubleshooting knowledge bases without encountering broken loops or orphan pages.
Candidate Profile & Technical Qualifications
Technical Competency & Platform Mastery
You possess at least three years of direct, hands-on experience managing and maintaining high-volume direct-to-consumer (D2C) e-commerce websites, ideally within consumer electronics, hardware, or tech accessories. You have deep technical familiarity with modern e-commerce CMS environments (specifically Shopify/Liquid or WooCommerce/WordPress) and can comfortably write, modify, and debug HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and modern JavaScript without relying on bloated page-builder plugins. Candidates who have direct experience configuring Cloudflare security rules, managing DNS records, and working with REST APIs or webhooks will stand out immediately.
Commercial Instinct & Conversion-Focused Thinking
You understand that code is merely a means to achieve business performance. You approach web design through the lens of conversion rate optimization (CRO), user psychology, and trust signals. You know how subtle adjustments—such as positioning warranty badges, streamlining checkout address autofill, or clarifying shipping arrival guarantees—directly impact cart completion rates among cautious online buyers.
Rigorous Diagnostic Methodology
When an unexpected site issue occurs, you do not panic or apply haphazard fixes. You systematically isolate root causes in staging environments, inspect browser console logs, test network payloads, and confirm rollback protocols before pushing changes to live production. You maintain thorough documentation of all custom code snippets, app configurations, and architectural changes to ensure long-term stability.
Workspace & Technical Infrastructure Requirements
Because this role involves managing mission-critical retail infrastructure, you must work from an established home office with reliable hardware:
- Computing Power: A modern, high-spec workstation running macOS or Windows with a minimum of 16 GB RAM and dual-monitor support to inspect code, live dashboards, and mobile responsive simulators concurrently.
- Network Stability: A dedicated broadband internet connection delivering at least 100 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload speeds, connected directly via Ethernet to ensure uninterrupted access during live platform deployments.
- Security & Authentication: A secure, password-managed environment capable of handling multi-factor authentication (MFA) across our hosting, domain registries, and financial processing platforms.
Compensation, Growth & Perks
- Competitive Pay: $28.00 to $36.00 per hour (or competitive annual salary structure), tailored to your technical portfolio, CMS depth, and past record in e-commerce optimization.
- Performance Bonuses: Quarterly bonuses tied directly to store uptime metrics, Core Web Vitals targets, and overall digital conversion rate improvements.
- Gear & Testing Hardware: We provide brand-new SuperBox test units from our current product line for your home office, alongside a modern equipment budget for secondary testing displays or peripherals.
- Autonomy & Strategic Influence: You will have substantial creative and technical leeway to shape our digital storefront’s architecture, test emerging tools, and influence our brand’s technical trajectory as we expand across North America.

Please include the following three elements in your email:
